Košarka

Košarka, or basketball, is a team sport in which two teams, typically consisting of five players each, compete to score points by throwing a ball through the opposing team’s hoop or basket. The game is played on a rectangular court with a hoop at each end, and the objective is to accumulate the highest score by making field goals, which are worth two or three points depending on the distance from the basket, and free throws, which are worth one point. Players advance the ball by dribbling or passing, and the game requires a combination of physical skill, teamwork, and strategy. Košarka is governed by official rules, and it is popular worldwide, being a key sport in professional leagues as well as in amateur and youth contexts.
